Hist. crit. notes:The drawing series was created during a week-long event at the Prisma Gallery in Bozen/Bolzano. Equipped with tent and camping table, Gino Alberti lived and worked on site and used the central themes of drawing and camping as parallel forms of travel that require little expense or luggage. The title, “turista per sempre”, alludes to the great journey through life between “departure” and “arrival”. From the small-format spontaneous series to the conceptual large formats, drawing – sometimes in combination with text fragments – is the artist’s preferred means of expression as a basis and starting point for all his work, whether in free or applied graphics.
