Hist. crit. notes:In everyday language, ping-pong is often used as an image for verbal exchanges. The unusual “Ping meets Pong” conference table, by Walking-Chair Design Studio, conveys the same image. The numbered and signed edition is both a conference table and a table tennis table, with a rotating net that goes around the round table, thus in equal measure introducing relaxation and movement into communication and play.
