Hist. crit. notes:Leander Schwazer is a painter working with a broad range of Media. He understands painting, in a neo-conceptual sense, like a black box. «30 Most Famous People of All Time», «Bikini» and «The Alphabet I got dry with» are just a few titles of shows Leander Schwazer has lately produced. Each title refers to the hidden logic Leander Schwazer seeks to discover in everyday materials. In his work something begins to speak—something pre– or perhaps something post–human.
